A Gentle Invitation to Rest

In a world that often encourages us to do more, move faster, and keep pushing forward, rest can easily become something we postpone.

Many of us tell ourselves we will rest later.

After the work is finished.

After the house is clean.

After everyone else is taken care of.

After we have earned it.
 

Yet rest is not simply the absence of activity. When we allow ourselves to be supported, rest can become a source of steadiness, renewal, and connection.
 

Rest with Kindness™ was created as a gentle space to explore rest through guided rest practices, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and simple moments of awareness.
 

These practices are not about doing more or getting rest "right." They are opportunities to experience support, perhaps in ways that are often missing from daily life.
 

Whether you are caring for others, navigating chronic pain or fatigue, moving through a life transition, or simply feeling the pace of modern life,
rest can offer a way to reconnect with yourself.

Short and longer practices designed to help you pause, settle, and reconnect with your body. Many are especially supportive for people living with chronic pain, stress, fatigue, or overwhelm.
 

Restorative Yoga


Simple supported practices using props and thoughtful positioning to help the body feel supported, allowing ease, comfort, and deep rest to arise naturally.
 

Yoga Nidra


Guided meditative rest that supports deep relaxation while remaining awake and aware.

Thoughts and resources exploring rest, support, self-compassion, and the wisdom of slowing down in everyday life.
