Hi I’m Jan Michael!

Move with balance, stability, and confidence.
 

I created Steady Steps® Yoga to help people move with greater ease, strength, and confidence—no matter where they’re starting from.
 

Balance has been a lifelong challenge for me, and yoga became my steady path. It taught me how to find stability and freedom within my own body, and how to carry that steadiness into daily life.
 

I’ve been teaching yoga since 2015, completed my 300-hour Yoga Wellness training in 2023, and became a  yoga therapist in 2025. My teaching focuses on cultivating awareness and rebuilding balance, stability, and confidence through mindful movement, conscious breath, and Restorative Yoga. Each practice is an invitation to move with intention, listen deeply, and discover steadiness from within. I believe that rest is not a luxury—it’s an essential practice that allows the body to recover, release tension, and build sustainable strength from the inside out.
 

Through Steady Steps® Yoga, I offer a welcoming space to explore movement, rest deeply, and reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom. My hope is that each student leaves class feeling steadier, stronger, and more at home in themselves.
