Steady Steps™ is a specialized yoga program designed to help individuals of all ages and abilities improve balance and stability. Our classes are tailored to the individual's needs, allowing them to gain the necessary strength and flexibility to stay safe and active. We focus on fall prevention and use yoga as a way to increase physical and mental wellbeing. Our classes are led by a certified yoga teacher with years of experience, providing each participant with the support and guidance needed to stay safe and healthy.
About Me
Hey, everyone!
I'm Jan Michael, and I’m excited to share my story with you. I want to tell you why I created Steady Steps™ and the inspiration behind this wonderful venture. As some of you may know, I've faced challenges with balance throughout my life due to congenital deafness in my right ear. It hasn't always been easy, but I never let it hold me back. Instead, I found my strength through yoga.
Steady Steps™ was born out of a deep desire to help others who face similar balance challenges. I wanted to create a safe space for individuals of all fitness levels to explore the joy of yoga and discover the transformative power it holds. Through my regular yoga practice, I have experienced first hand the incredible benefits it brings. Not only has my yoga practice improved my balance, strength, and coordination, but it has also allowed me to reach new levels of self-awareness and inner peace. Every day is different, but with dedication and commitment, I've seen myself grow and improve beyond what I could have imagined.With consistent practice, anyone can improve their balance.
